Aim screennames

Post  claykerri on Fri Oct 03, 2008 2:35 pm

Hey guys, I think all of you should post your screennames here and kind of introduce yourself.
I'll edit my post to add a list of them and we can go from there, eh?
I'd say remember to be polite to everyone you talk to, but considering how we are all bad-arses, I don't think that should be a problem!

My About Me:
So my name is clay, known as necro on the forums, and I am pretty much an amateur at it all. I have some experience with photoshop, but I can also work with vegas, after effects and 3ds max, although im still in the process of learning the last two. I'd love any help I can get from you guys (which is why i signed up for this project haha). Also, I am pretty experienced with cinematography, but Idk how I can help with that if I may not be able to afford gas to san diego hahaha.

Well To kick off the Aim List:

Clay: Clayskatenow
Elliot: Blacktheaterkid
Adam: Polishdudea

Ok, so more and more I am told people do not know what AIM is. So I created a solution a few days ago.
Go here to http://www.vcpforumfilm.tk
Sign up, and join the discussions. On the main page however, i've placed a chatbox for this purpose exactly. Let's meet on that chatbox altogether today to discuss the film, and how we're going to break up pre-and post production.
Let's shoot for around 12-2pm pst is possible. I know we have a lot of people all over the world, so time differences will be an issue. If need be, I'm willing to have basically another meet at a later time for those people as well.
If anyone has any questions, e-mail me at director@vcpforumfilm.tk
Also, I still haven't received e-mails from everybody, so if you could do that too, to the same e-mail, then I will have your e-mails for whenever we don't talk online.

Hey my name is Adam and I live in Vancouver.
I am 15 years old and my knowledge of software spans to photoshop, after effects and paint. lol!
My photoshop skills are better than my after fx skills but I would like to do both.

I don't have any experience with 3d YET. (i'm hoping vcp can help me with that).
I can help in any way as long as it does not involve traveling down to San Diego. Very Happy

I guess I'll tell my life story as well.

MY name is (brace yourself) Ricardo Armando Elliott II. I was born in Maryland, moved to LA earlier this year, then Huntington Beach. I'm 18, but have the experience of someone 25, ha. Throughout the last 5 years, I've had a lot of experience in theater and acting. In 2004 I was on the Bravo! channel for a workshop they did around the U.S. Throughout high school, I was in Seven performances, my first one as a lead in "Flowers For Algernon" as a freshman. I participated in the student critic program, the cappies, all through high school. I am still to this day a member of the International Thespian Society. My last year of high school I assistant directed "The Man Who Came To Dinner," and then went on to write and direct my own one act, which is my favorite performance of them all. I haven't had any big film jobs, just a couple of odd jobs here and there. Not to toot my own horn, but I'm great with both Ae and Photoshop. I'm working on a cartoon that will be sent into Adult Swim for consideration of a television series. I've played the piano since I was 6. I've been to Disneyworld every year of my life with pictures to prove it :p. A year's training with a whip, a speedcubist with an average of about 35 seconds and still going lower, a 5 year magician, and above all a filmmaker.
